Event is organized by Barnoldswick Consider it Done (CID) fundraising group in aid of the Pendle branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Ward 3 Trust fund at Airedale Hospital. There's a disco, karaoke, professional singers, face painting, party games, fancy dress competition, free children's raffle and loads more. Admission is on the door and is £2 for adults, 50p for children or a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children is available for £4.50. Fantastic prizes including a bed donated by Silentnight!

17th Aug 2003, 12:00, Salterforth Fun Day, Salterforth. The popular, annual Salterforth Fun Day takes place in the centre of Salterforth. Featuring The Simpsons!; Jukalo the Juggler; famous local compère Frannie Welch; raffle with fantastic prizes; Wife Carrying Competition, BBQ – and much, much more. We are supported as usual by local companies, and last year raised £2,000 for local charities and organizations. No Entrance Fee – but donations at the gate will be extremely welcomed. Parking this year is from the cross roads in the centre of the village turn 1st left after the Anchor Inn. In the evening there will be a firework display at 9 pm at the Anchor Inn.
